Abstract
700,057. Load coupling arrangements. ATELIERS DE CONSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIQUES DE CHARLEROI. Feb. 20, 1952 [Feb. 21, 1951], No. 4466/52. Class 40 (5) In an arrangement for coupling the load circuit in a dielectric heating system to the H.F. generator, in which the load circuit comprises a capacitor 21, between the plates of which the material to be treated is located, connected in series with a rectangular loop 22, the loop 22 is surrounded and screened by a tubular metallic casing 23 which is connected to earth, and is insulated from the capacitor 21 by air gaps. A metal sleeve 24 within the casing 23, which surrounds the loop 22 over a part of its length, is provided with an annular flange which is attached to the casing 23, and through a conductor 11 enclosed within a casing 12, provides a coupling with the anode circuit of the oscillator. The anode circuit includes a capacitor 13 and an inductor consisting of a conductor 14 surrounded by a metallic casing 15.
