Class 143 [Also in Group XXX] The bulk of the subject-matter of the Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specifications 692,091 and 692,093, [Group.II], but the claims are directed to the means for guiding the skip for parallel movement during weighing. Hydraulic weighing apparatus. The Specification also describes a weighing device consisting of a piston and cylinder which supports the skip and is connected with a pressure gauge calibrated in units of weight. Fluid which may leak to the upper part of the cylinder during the weighing movement is returned to the space, beneath the piston by. a non-return valve in the piston, and a spring which urges the piston to the top of the cylinder at the end of each weighing.
