Abstract
691,712. Batteries. TUDOR ACCUMULATOR CO., Ltd. Feb. 14, 1952 [June 25, 1951], No. 14996/51. Class 53] A pasted accumulator plate comprises a frame 1 of synthetic plastic material and synthetic plastic bars 4, 5 dividing the frame into compartments for holding the active material. Electric connection is made to the active material by lead rods 8 which pass through apertures 6 in the bars 4 and are con- -nected to a conductor 9 having a terminal lug 10. The frame may be moulded round the conducting bars or it -may be moulded in sections which are assembled round the conducting bars 'and fixed together by adhesive or pegs. The ribs may extend diagonally or in any other direction.
