Abstract

A thermoelectric element consists of an alloy of the following composition: Ag 63-80 per cent, Te and impurities, the remainder. This element may be combined in a thermocouple, with an element consisting of impure Te such as one containing up to 1 per cent of Sb or Bi, or with an element of the composition Ag less than 62 per cent, Te the remainder.
