[Class 104 (ii)] A carriage for use in the trolley system for a refrigerator van or car described in the parent Specification is arranged to bridge'the intervals or gaps between the curved track portions and the transverse and longitudinal rails which they interconnect, by providing at least two pairs of wheels 14a, with the stub axles 13a of each pair staggered relatively to one another, as shown in Fig. 3, whereby at least three of the wheels bear at any time on the flanged tracks of the runway. The provision of four wheels as in the example allows the wheels to be made of smaller diameter than when one pair only is mounted on a carriage. To facilitate the passage of the carriage within the gap 11‹ between the horizontal rail flanges 11a, 11<1>a at the curved junctions, the carriage, which is substantially in the form of a metal plate is tapered at the front and rear edges into the form of shuttle to avoid wedging. A bolt 70 through the body 12a of the carriage supports a carrier bar 9 formed with hooks 9b at its extremities, and provided with hooks 9a extending laterally from its mid-portion, for the attachment of goods.
