632,175. Saw-tooth circuits. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. Nov. 4, 1946, No. 32710. Convention date, Nov. 7, 1945. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (vi)] In the output stage of an electromagnetic time base, the primary of the output transformer is given such a value that the mean anode current is a minimum for a given output at a given frequency. Any distortion of the output current wave caused by giving the primary inductance this value, rather than making it as high as possible, is avoided by partially integrating the driving voltage before applying it to the stage, or by providing negative current feed-back.
