627,656. Thermometers. PAGE, E..June 12, 1947, No. 15522.. [Class 97 (iii)] To facilitate re-setting by shaking of a clinical thermometer 1 it is secured at one end opposite the bulb to a cap 2 having a projecting end or stub part 3 connected by a resilient member such as a spring 4 to a knob-like handle 6 constructed for gripping between thumb and finger. The knob may have a neck portion 5 over which the spring is fitted. The spring 4 may be replaced by a leaf-spring or by rubber tubing or by solid rubber.
