Abstract
625,497. Decoys. FEUSNER, J. L. Aug. 1, 1947, No. 20945. Convention date, Sept. 26, 1938. [Class 5(i)] A buoyant decoy comprises a collapsable hollow body 1 and a weighted skirt 6 which, when immersed causes the trapped air to inflate the body. The hem 8 of the skirt is beaded and encloses lead shot or the like. A float may be loosely attached inside the skirt, to come into action to prevent sinking if the body is punctured. The tilt of the decoy may be varied by moving the lead shot, or by a supplementary weight strung across the base of the skirt. The head 2 of the duck 1 may be integral with or attached to the body, separated by a diaphragm 5 punctured for drainage.
