618,030. Walls; building slabs. FENNA, L. Oct. 16, 1946. No. 30730. [Classes 20(iv) and 87(i)] A wall has inner and outer concrete or like composition facing slabs 1 of tapering cross-section held together at their upper and lower edges by metal clips 2 with concrete or other wedges 3, 3A driven in between the slabs, the space between the slabs being then filled with concrete 12 and the horizontal joints pointed with a quick hardening cement. Rabbets may be provided on the edges of the slabs to conceal the metal ties. In the Provisional Specification plain slabs were used and a pair of wooden or other wedges replaced the single wedges such as 3.
