Abstract

609,005. Flexible drive couplings. PATTISON, Ltd., A., and PATTISON, A. H. March 22, 1946, No. 8859. [Class 80 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXII] In a flexible drive coupling between a hub 11 and an annular plate-like member 15, the hub has a radial flange 13 with a circle of holes, in which are disposed compressed rubber bushes 21, the bores of which receive axially extending pins 26 carried by the plate-like member. A ring 16 slidably mounted on the hub similarly has holes containing compressed rubber bushes 20 which receive the pins 26. A securing ring 25 completes the arrangement. The rubber bushes have flanges 22 at their ends remote from the plate-like member.
