Abstract

587,204. Warp beams. SMITH, F. L., and SHACKLETON, G. W. Dec. 5, 1944, No. 24254. [Class 142 (ii)] The ends of a warp beam have a coarse (preferably double) thread engaged by pegs 5 projecting inwardly from a split bearing 10 carrying the flange 4, so that the position of the flange can be adjusted by slackening bolts 6 and rotating the flange.
