573,940. Stipplers. PADGETT, P. M. July 21, 1943, No. 11829. [Class 95] A stippler, for use in painting and decorating, comprises a roller C axially and revolubly mounted in a framework A, said roller including a cylinder or sleeve D having formed thereon, or moulded integral therewith, a plurality of radial resilient projections E arranged in longitudinally spaced rows, each projection being capable of independent universal movement at its outer extremity. The single roller C may be replaced by a plurality of rollers. Fig 4 shows various forms of projections E, and a flat sheet J from which the sleeve D may be formed.
