[Class 20 (iv)] A girder of triangular section comprises a casing 1 and hollow core 2 of asbestos-cement, with iron reinforcement 3 and a concrete filling 4. A wood batten 5 serves for the attachment of asbestos-cement ceiling sheets 6. Such beams may be placed side by side to form a ceiling, with intermediate spaces filled with inverted hollow asbestos-cement beams 8, or the latter beams may be filled with concrete or other material, or a concrete filling only may be used. A concrete covering 9 is added. The core 2 may be withdrawn after the concrete has set and the casing 8 may be similarly withdrawn.
