[Class 46] [Also in Group XXVIII] A plurality of brushes h having bristles radiating from a stem f is arranged in a row in parallel intermeshed relation by engaging eyes g at the ends of the stems on parallel tubes a, c connected by a transverse tube b, the unit being mounted in an inclined position in a filter chamber or passage k, such as an inlet to an air-conditioning apparatus. As shown, the tube c is engaged in an angle iron on the bottom wall of the passage and the tube a is supported by a detachable plate q on an angle iron m on the top wall of the passage to allow for removal for cleaning. The bristles may be moistened with light oil for filtering dry air. The tubes a, care provided with detachable end caps e.
