Abstract
525,656. Concentrating rubber dispersions. BONDY, C. Feb. 24, 1939, No. 6224. [Class 70] In preparing concentrated aqueous dispersions of rubber, guttapercha, balata or polymerized butadiene or chlorbutadiene the aqueous dispersion is mixed with a creaming agent such as alkali alginates, pectin, gum, mosses &c. and allowed to stand for creaming. The cream is removed, agitated by stirring, shaking, or subjection to ultrasonic vibrations ; and allowed to stand for separation of a more concentrated cream. The agitation and recreaming may be repeated.
