Abstract

521,120. Constructional toys. NIELSON, F. E. C. S. Nov. 8, 1938, No. 32421. [Class 132 (iii)] Comprises pins, bars or blocks 1 of circular, rectangular section provided between their ends with transverse or circumferential grooves 4 and at their ends with holes 3 coaxial with the axis, of the bar, and connecting members adapted to fit into such holes. The connecting members may be plain or headed pins, angle pieces with legs 7, 8 as in Fig. 6 with or without an eye at the corner of the legs. Cross connecting pieces, Fig. 7, or bifurcated pieces as in Fig.' 9 may also be used. Such pieces together with circular or rectangular blocks provided with holes, and pieces to represent heads of animals, may be used to build up figures as in Fig. 28, or with using just the pins and blocks toy pieces of furniture such as shown in Fig. 21. Many examples from furniture to bridges and railways are described.
