507,542. Hair- - waving devices. FERMOR, A. J. Nov. 23, 1938, No. 34005. [Class 131] A hair-waving appliance comprises a plurality of straight or curved bars c, d having registering double convex and double concave surfaces. The tress of hair having been wound thereon as shown, the bars c, d are tightly clamped together on a pair of supporting rods by means of hand nuts f, and the exposed hair is treated with steam. The concave-faced bar may comprise two sliding parts d<2>, d<3>, Fig. 4, adapted to move outwards as the clamps are tightened.
