[Class 64 (iii)] In order to prevent corrosion of, or electrolytic action between, the core a and the shell f of a radiator. for aircraft or motor-vehicles, the core, formed, e.g., of elements of brass or cupronickel, is secured to the light metal alloy shell by a metal strip c having a proteotive coating of nickel or chromium applied by electro-deposition. The strip is brazed or soldered to the core and secured by rivets &c. a to the shell. Packing c may be interposed between the strip and the shell.
