Abstract

499,724. Filing papers &c. RIJMENAM, H. VAN, (trading as RIJMENAM, H. VAN, [Firm of]). June 15, 1938, No. 17758. Convention date, June 19, 1937. [Class 146 (i)] In a device for filing documents in vertical position consisting of a number of suspension bars or carriers for folders or the like 6 which are to be detachably supported thereby, the bars being freely and slidably mounted on two parallel horizontal supports, such as the top edges of a filing drawer, each bar is provided with a depending flange 4 on which is or are arranged one or more hooks 5 from which a holder may be detachably suspended. The folder 6 has one side perforated for engaging the hooks, and the other side is held in the closed position by means of a snap-fastener device 8. The bar for each folder is constructed as an open-topped gutter 9 into which a reference strip 10 and a transparent covering strip 11 may be inserted.
