499,575. Liquid - pressure engines. AIRCRAFT HYDRAULIC APPLIANCES, Ltd., WELLS, R. G., and WYLIE, H. N. June 30, 1938, No. 19416. [Class 69 (ii)] [Also in Group XXVIII] In a multiple cylinder swash-plate motor or pump the swash member 14 is supported on trunnions 15 by a split gimbal ring 16 and engage fixed trunnions on the frame 19. The two-part swash member is mounted on a pin 20 which engages a crank 23 on the power shaft 24 and through an extension operates a rotary valve 28 through a forked lug 27. Ports 32 alternately connect the cylinders to supply and exhaust pressures through grooves 29, 30 in the valve.
