[Class 12 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] In rolling-mills having the rolls arranged in a vertical row, the bearing brasses a, b of each roll are adjustable in a frame c which is itself adjustable in the roll stand m to effect the correct alignment of the rolls with one another. As shown, the brasses a, b are adjusted by wedges e, and the frame c by wedges i. Upon removal of keep-plates n the frame can be removed from the roller stand m.
