[Class 40 (v)] A two-frequency crystal cut so as to have a single frequency in a selected X mode (this frequency being dependent on the width of the crystal along an X axis), a relatively high additional frequency dependent on the thickness, and a small or zero temperature coefficient, is cut in the manner described in Specification 464,894 except that the face of the crystal is inclined towards parallelism with a major instead of a minor open face of the mother crystal. Specification 457,342 also is. referred to.
