Abstract

490,148. Display stands ; boxes. MACKINTOSH & SONS, Ltd., J., CARR, J., and OAKES, H. Feb. 20, 1937, No. 5122. [Class 3 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] Cardboard trays A, B, C containing chocolates &c. are connected together by hinges E so that they may be supported in tiers for display purposes by a collapsable step-like member F secured to the rear of the tray C, and for packing and transport, may be turned about these hinges so as to lie in one plane with the member F folded beneath. In the collapsed position, a flap G bearing advertising matter may be folded down to serve as a lid and the trays inserted in a carton. The trays may be of rectangular cross-section in which case the hinges comprise links.
