Abstract
487,114. Draught regulators for stoves; closed solid-fuel stoves. BURGER EISENWERKE GES. Aug. 25, 1937, No. 23358. Convention date, Aug. 6. [Class 126] A valve which admits air into the outlet flue 9 of a closed solid-fuel or other room stove is mounted in a downwardly directed open-ended extension of the flue, and comprises a cylinder 14 with an open bottom 16, perforations 15 in its vertical walls, and an inwardly-turned bottom rim on which normally rests a light disc 17 which can rise to admit air when the chimney draught increases, the disc being guided by a central rod 18. The valve is inserted from below into the open end of the extension of the flue and is secured by means of a bayonet joint. Ducts 19 for gases distiUed from the fuel column are provided inside the stove, through whichthe gases are drawn from above the fuel column and delivered beneath the firegrate 2.
