Abstract

478,354. Mixing - apparatus. ENAMELLED METAL PRODUCTS CORPORATION (1933), Ltd. (Pfaudler Co.) June 16, 1936, No. 16708. [Class 86] An apparatus for mixing fluids comprises a container fitted with a stirrer on a vertical shaft and with baffles which are adjustable both horizontally and vertically. The container, which may be jacketed and have a fluid-tight lid, is provided with a rotary shaft 17 fitted with blades 18. The baffles 27 are in the form of flattened tubes fitted with curved blades 26 and can be raised by means of rack mechanism 30 and swung round a vertical axis by means of a handle 38.
