Abstract

469,649. Angular bending. CALLEBAUT, L. E. March 5, 1937, No. 6590. [Class 83 (iv)] In a bending-machine with rotary table 20 carrying a former and a stop, not shown, means is provided for stopping the table after a predetermined rotation. The table is driven from gears 28 through a clutch 44. The edge of the table is provided with holes 47 into which are inserted pins engaging, at the limit of travel, a lever 31 connected to a clutch operating shaft 43. The lever 31 is axially adjustable and has a tapered end to allow of compensation for the diameter of the pins. The pins are adjusted according to the desired angle of bend and stop the machine by contacting the lever 31. The machine may be controlled from a pedal 45.
