[Class 26] A siphonicallydischarging closet has a depending discharge leg comprising a chamber or bulbous part 2, a tubular portion 3 extending downwardly from the chamber and an exterior sleeve 4 coaxial with, and spaced from, the part 3 and of an exterior diameter suitable for fitting into a soil-pipe. The space between the parts 3 and 4 may be closed as at 6 and be provided with an air vent 8 or 8a and the sleeve may be grooved as at 7 to facilitate sealing of the joint with the soil-pipe.
