Abstract
452,054. Thermionic cathodes. M-O VALVE CO., Ltd., Electra House, Victoria Embankment, London, and WARREN, G. W., c/o General Electric Co., Ltd., Wembley, Middlesex. Feb. 26, 1935, No. 6139. [Class 39 (i)] The helix 4 of a cathode heater is wound on a mandrel which is withdrawn from the helix and may be replaced by an insulating tube 2 surrounding the central lead wire 3; or if the central wire is stout enough it is sprayed with insulating material and placed inside the helix without a surrounding insulating tube. The end of the helix may be wound for a few turns on the central wire before it is welded thereto. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 313,691, [Class 37].
