Abstract

[Class 78 (i)] [See also Group XVI] A conveyer, which is especially applicable for feeding sheets of board from one creasing or like machine e, Fig. 1, to a second machine d, comprises a plurality of spaced rollers a, certain or all of which are positively driven, and a fixed gauge b<1> and adjustable gauge c arranged substantially at right angles to the axes of the rollers a. The gauge c is carried by arms c<2>, c<5> which are adjustable upon cross-bars c<1>, and the underside of the gauge is formed with slots c' to permit the gauge to extend below the plane of the top of the rollers. The fixed gauge b<1> is formed with a chamfer b<3> to guide the boards on to the rollers a, and a guide b<5> also assists this action. The boards pass under guides c<3>, b<5> which keep them flat.
