Abstract

442,099. Protective arrangements. BELLING & LEE, Ltd., and LEE, E. M., Cambridge Arterial Road, Enfield, Middlesex. Nov. 6, 1934, No. 31924. [Class 38 (iv)] A radio interference suppressor comprises at least two condensers and a choke, one of the condensers 19 being arranged for connection across the terminals of the source of interference, e.g. a motor 11, a second condenser 20 being arranged for connection between one pole of the source and the frame 14, and the choke 22 being arranged for connection between the frame 14 and earth. A third condenser 21 may be provided for connection between the other pole of the source and the frame. The parts together with fuses 23 may be arranged in a casing adapted for mounting on a wall and having a flexible lead terminating in a three pin plug for the input connections 16, 17, 18 and sockets for the output connections. Alternatively the suppressor may be built into the appliance forming the source of interference or into a wall socket from which such appliance or a number of such appliances are to be fed.
