Abstract
435,884. Inductances. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. June 26, 1934, No. 18879. Convention date, June 26, 1933. [Class 37] A high-frequency dust core with a permeability of more than 8 has a fixed winding thereon and a nonmagnetizable gap in the core, the core occupy ing a position where the coil field is dense, the arrangement of coil and magnetic circuit being such that the effective permeability is considerably reduced, preferably to at least one half, but not to a figure corresponding with that for a cylinder coil. The cores are constructed with E, U, H, T, or L shapes, or they may have the configuration of a flanged yarn spool, Fig. 6, or of a mushroom, or pot magnet. The cores may be formed under pressure in one piece and may be mounted in a screen c, Fig. 8, with a copper disc regulator or a disc K of magnetic particles.
