Abstract

For the manufacture of artificial leather an impregnated paper is coated with a first coat consisting of 4 parts pyroxylin, 4 parts orange shellac, 25 parts denatured alcohol, 22,5 parts ethyl acetate and 2,5 parts butyl acetate, and with two coats of one part pyroxylin, 1,9 parts castor oil, 0,6 parts pigment, 5 parts denatured alcohol, 4,5 parts ethyl acetate and 0,5 parts butyl acetate.
