Abstract
419,625. Spray carburetters. MEMINI, G., 16, Via Poliziano, Milan, Italy. Sept. 5, 1933, No. 24627. [Class 7 (iii).] In a carburetter in which a well 3 supplies a main nozzle 11 through a passage 10 and an idling byepass nozzle 16 through a restricted orifice 15 and passage 14, an additional nozzle 18 located in the wall of the induction pipe 13, near the throttle 17 is supplied through a restricted orifice 20 and passage 19 by an independent well 4 or a direct communication 21 with the float chamber 1 or both, the arrangement avoiding a flat spot as the throttle is opened. In a modification, the well 4 is dispensed with and the nozzle 18 is fed solely from the float chamber.
