415,280. Conduits. SCHAUBERGER, V., 6, I. Renngasse, Vienna. Oct. 31, 1933, No. 30236. Convention date, Nov. 2, 1932. [Class 33.] A number of short guide blades, attached to the walls of water channels, are twisted in such a way as to give a spiral motion to that part of the fluid near the walls. The blades may be disposed in the channel along spiral lines, and are preferably rhomboidal strips with diagonally opposite obtuse-angled corners bent up towards the same surface of the strip. Ribs 6 may be provided.
