Abstract

414,578. Concrete mixers. ETABLISSMENTS RICHIER, 127<bis>, Avenue National, Charleville, Ardennes, France. Dec. 29, 1933, No. 36613. Convention date, April 10. [Class 86.] A trough for use with concrete mixers is provided with two blades inclined relatively to the axis of rotation and connected together at the centre of the trough by means of a sheet iron member 10, each blade comprising a solid portion 8 extended in a forward direction by a solid removable portion 9, Fig. 3, and in the backward direction by means of iron members 11 located in the same plane as the blade and parallel to its rear edge, the members 11 being secured to an iron member 12. The portions 8 and 9 are placed edge to edge and fixed separately to the wall of the trough by means of keys or the like so as to be removable therefrom. Auxiliary narrow blades 17, Fig. 1, inclined in the reverse direction to the solid blades, are arranged at the rear of the trough to throw back the materials towards the centre of the trough.
