Nov. 21, 1932, No. 32872. Convention date, Nov. 21, 1931. Addition to 407,411. [Class 38 (ii).] Relates to a voltage regulating arrangement comprising a control winding S3 on a movable core associated with a pair of choke coils S1, S2 as described in the parent Specification, and consists in arranging the control winding S3 in two auto-connected sections connected directly across the voltage EO to be regulated, and connecting the choke coils S1, S2 across that section of the control winding the voltage across which corresponds to the difference Ep between the upper and lower limits of the regulated voltage. Figs. 2<a> and 2<c> show respectively the positions of the windings for the lower limit of regulated voltage (Ex=Eo-Ep) and for the upper limit of regulated voltage (Ex=Eo).
