[Class 40 (v).] In a wireless receiver, reaction control for one range of wavelengths is effected by a variable resistance R2, shunting the reaction coil L2, there being a fixed condenser C2 in series with the coil L2, while reaction control for another range of wavelengths is. effected by a variable condenser C1, in series with the reaction coil L1, a switch A allowing either reaction coil to be selected.- Preferably the condenser C1 and the resistance R2 are ganged, while the switch A may also change the tuning coil L.
