Abstract

396,179. Two-part couplings. LUNDBERG & SONS, Ltd., A. P. and PEGG, G., 477, Liverpool Road, Holloway, London. April 30, 1932, No. 12479. [Class 38 (i).] A bayonet-plug adapter comprises contacts 12, 37 held in place between two parts 11, 13 of the body, the two parts being secured together by the bayonet pin 21. The part 13 has a rib 17 that fits in a transverse recess in the upper part, interlocking parts 16, 18 preventing relative movement. Resilient contacts 37 or sockets are retained by an extension 38 being gripped between the rib 17 and the contacts 12 located in apertures 27 in the part 11. The contacts 12 are retained either by a tapered shoulder 29 or, if made of bent sheet metal, by an enlarged portion underlying the border of the apertures 27.
