Abstract

396,175. Models. PRIDE, E. and WEDLOCK, Ltd., W. H., 222, Mayplace Road, Bexleyheath, Kent. April 23, 1932, No. 11712. [Class 146 (ii).] A model of a dwelling or other building is mounted on a hollow base 1, to which is fixed the ground floor section 2. One or more movable sections 7, 11 are connected to the section 2 by telescopic posts 4, 5, 10 and the extent of the separation is limited by stops provided on the lower ends of the posts 5, 10 which co-operate with abutments in the ends of the posts 4, 5 respectively. The sections 11, 7 are raised in turn by operating a ratchetwinch 14, through the medium of a cord 15 which passes over pulleys 17 and is attached to the top of the section 11. Electric contacts, preferably provided on the top of a lower section and on the underside of an upper section, meet when the sections are lowered and cause lamps 21 to be illuminated.
