390,214. Adjustable seats. WALKER & SONS, Ltd., J. W., Francis Works, Southfield Road, Acton, London, and SYMONDSON, A. H., 69, Jersey Road, Osterley, Hounslow, Middlesex. Oct. 3, 1931, No. 27519. [Class 52 (ii).] A vertically adjustable seat or stool comprises elevating mechanisms at the sides, a transmission extending between said mechanisms and beneath the seat, and foot blocks having spaced vertical guide members providing extended guidance for the legs and a transverse member between said guide members for supporting the elevating mechanisms at each side. Such a stool is shown comprising bevel gearings h connected by a transverse shaft n, and threaded members j. Each foot block c carries vertical guide rods d connected by a cross member d<1> supporting the members j.
