383,198. Magnetos. GLÍSSL, K. SCHAFFLER-, 138, Lerchenfelderstrasse, Vienna. May 10, 1932, No. 13488. [Class 35.] A magneto-electric mine exploder has a onepiece frame 2 which accommodates the armature and polepieces and is so bored as to maintain the armature coaxial with respect to the polepieces. In the form shown, the magnet 10 is slipped on to the ends of the pole-pieces 4 which are inserted in lateral recesses 3 in the housing 2, and the pole-shoes and housing are turned cylindrically internally to receive the armature, and, during this process, the portion 1 of the frame which accommodates the gearing is bored to form the bearing 7 for the armature. Spring contacts may rest on the end of the armature shaft to receive the current, and the magneto may be enclosed in an outer casing.
