Abstract

Fertilizers are prepared by intimately mixing a small percentage, which may be 5-15 per cent, of inorganic fertilizing material, either dissolved or in the form of a powder, with air-dried peat dust and compressing the mixture into balls. Fertilizing materials specified are monocalcium phosphate, potash, kainite and lime.
