Abstract
378,883. Powder boxes. LOCH, O. and LOCH, P., (trading as LOCH & HARTENBERGER), Hasbach, Oberstein, Germany. May 13, 1931, No. 14207. Convention date, Feb. 27. [Class 18.] In a powder box of the kind in which the powder is supported on a spring-pressed plate h beneath a sieve a and is expelled by relatively rotating the sieve and the disc, the body of the box comprises an upper part b and a lower part d rotatably connected together, the sieve being hingedly mounted in the upper part, and the rim d<1> of the lower part engaging over the flanged edge of the upper part. The plate h is pressed upwards by a blade spring e attached to the part d and a loose blade spring g. To hold the powder while the plate h is being rotated, the upper surface of the plate is provided with beads. A hinged lid c may be provided.
