374,903. Electric resistance ovens. LEEMING, F., Poultry Farm, Catforth, near Preston, and HAYCRAFT, C. H., Wellington Road, Ashton, Preston. Dec. 2, 1930, No. 36261. [Class 39 (iii).] An electric heater for application in a brooder or hover, comprises a casing a standing on its own base or provided with feet so as to stand in a brooder or hover without attachment thereto and having on it sockets or holders e in which carbon filament electric lamps 1 .. 4 are mounted with the bulbs extending upwardly and having mounted in it the connection for a lead l from a main or other current supply and a switch or switches C, D whereby one or more or all of the lamps may be put into or out of circuit. Adjustable resistances or a thermostatic control may be provided. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 18265/05, [Class 39, Electric lamps &c.], 15137/09, 121,219, 168,856, 248,884, and 314,584, [all in Class 39 (iii), Heating by electricity].
