[Class 45.] Flexible wire nets such as torpedo nets and cargo nets such as are described in Specification 121,019, [Class 113 (i), Ship and boat fittings &c.], in which the flexible wire ropes are secured at their crossings by steel rings have their edges strengthened by extending the ropes 2, 3, constituting the net along the border rope 1 the ropes 2, 3 being additionally looped through the border rings 5. When net bridles are used at the corners of the nets, one of the ropes 2 is passed round the thimble 8 to which the bridle is attached and the other is passed through the thimble.
