Abstract

368,624. Induction relays. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLAGET, Võsteras, Sweden. June 11, 1931, No. 17004. Convention date, June 12, 1930. [Class 38 (v).] An energizing winding 1 and auxiliary short-circuited winding 4 normally act on an induction disc 3 to maintain an arm 11 thereon against a stop 12. Energization of a relay 8 closes at 7 a short-circuit to a further auxiliary winding 5 which overpowers the winding 4 and rotates the disc and arm 11 to close the contacts 14, which may be in the circuit of a controlling motor for a transformer ratio adjuster.
