Abstract

<PICT:0354702/III/1> In apparatus for the production of ozone by means of a non-luminous electric discharge between two coatings separated by a dielectric, one coating is placed on the outside and the other on the inside of a closed vessel. In the construction shown, the glass vessel 2 is closed at its lower end by an insulating plate 1, the inner electrode being a metal sheet 6, for example of aluminium, and the outer electrode a metallic grid 7.
