Nov. 15, 1929, No. 34897. [Class 89 (ii).] To enable the ends of a split pin to be easily separated a conical recess 7 is formed in the extremity 5, to receive the point of a sharp tool. In a modification a straight V-shaped recess extends across the split end. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 16702/88. [Class 89, Nails &c.], and 102,525, [Class 89 (ii), Hooks &c.].
