Abstract
342,055. Light sensitive cells. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE, 12, Hallesches Ufer, Berlin. Nov. 29, 1929, No. 36712. Convention date, Dec. 1, 1928. [Class 40 (iii).] To prevent deterioration of infra-red sensitive cells due to atmospheric action, the cell is enclosed in an airtight infra-red permeable vessel from which water vapour is removed by a suitable drying agent, the vessel being then sealed under relatively high vacuum. Subsequently inactive gas such as argon is introduced in the vessel, the thermal formation of the cell is effected, and the vessel again evacuated.
