Index tye-wheel machines; hammer-impression arrangements; line-spacing mechanism. - An apparatus for ticket printing, by the use of carbon paper, ticket impressing, or perforating comprises perforated blocks with raised figures u, v on opposite faces hinged laterally to a disc d which may be rotated and positioned relative to a table g over which passes a paper record strip f and which is provided with a guide h for the inserted ticket, the desired pressure being applied to the blocks by a suitable lever or levers k. The disc d is in one with an outer positioning drum a having corresponding markings to the perforated blocks and ' mounted on a fixed spindle c. A stop t locates the selected perforator block. When pressure is applied to the lever k, a rack q is forced down to rotate a ratchet wheel attached to a roller n. The foot of the rack also actuates a counter s. A spring j returns the lever when released, and a spring r returns the rack which now rotates the roller n to feed forward the paper strip drawn from the supply spool n. An additional punch i is provided on the ticket guide.
